This week in the Wildcard round the Philip Rivers led Chargers outplayed the roaring hot Ravens coming off a 3 game win streak, leading to them winning their division. The Chargers came off hot on the defensive side of the ball led by Derwin James, a rookie, Joey Bosa, and their strong line and Secondary. The Ravens run offense was one of the best in the league but when matched against the speedy quick Chargers, they couldn’t get anything done on the ground. With a couple quick 3 and outs and forced turnovers the Chargers offense took over and put points up on the board quick seeking a stunning 12-0 score, shutting out one of the strongest offenses at the time. The end score ended up being 23-17, Chargers win. In the second half, the Ravens did have a quick two touchdowns near the end through very good passes from Lamar Jackson of the Ravens. But the last drive by the Ravens was ended early by the Linebacker, Uchenna Nwosu. I believe the Chargers could win it all because of their crazy talented and partially young defense and the hot offense led by the veteran Philip Rivers.
